Our story

Built in Almora, around a local resource.

Estelar Enterprises is a small circular-economy and biomass company based in Village Sunola, Almora. We started with a simple question: what if fallen pine needles could be put to productive use?

Why pine needles

Abundant, local and underused.

Pine needles collect on forest floors across the Kumaon hills each season. They are dry, plentiful and underused.

Our journey

Learning by doing.

We began with collection and aggregation in Almora and Binsar, working with local families during the collection season.

From there we moved into processing, pellets and developing growing media.

How it works

From forest floor to market.

  1. Pine needle resource
  2. Collection
  3. Sorting & preparation
  4. Processing
  5. Material / product development
  6. Market & supply

Estelar works across the value chain — from collecting and processing pine needle biomass to developing useful materials and connecting them with markets.
